Trees about 25 m tall. Bark reddish brown, smooth, leaves oblanceolate-elliptic or narrow elliptic, base acute or cuneate, margins sub entire or serrate-dentate, apex acute. Flowers solitary white or creamish, about calyx 5 toothed, sepals ovate, elliptic; corolla 5 lobed, petals obovate, yellow, stamens free, numerous, about 13-15 mm long.s tyles flattened, linear lanceolate or oblanceolate.
