Description of Species Tree up to 20 m high, with glabrous branches and dark coloured bark. Stipular spines in pair, shortly recurved, to 5 mm long, dark coloured. Petiole with a gland near the middle; rachis with gland between uppermost pair of pinnae; pinnae 10 – 30 pairs, 4 – 5 cm long; leaflets 30 – 45 pairs, linear, glabrous, sessile, subacute. Flowers creamy – white, in axillary, solitary or fascicled, to 10 cm long spikes. Pods smooth, flat, dehiscent, 3 – 6 seeded. Leaf Details Pinnae 10 – 30 pairs, 4 – 5 cm long; leaflets 30 – 45 pairs, linear, glabrous, sessile, subacute.
