Description of Species Trees upto 20 m tall. Bark reddish brown to light grayish brown, thin, flaking in long strips. Leaves like little scales overlapping and tightly packed on the shoots and have 6-12 thick scales arranged in opposite pairs.  Cones yellowish green, ovoid.
