Plants forming colonies of rosettes, arborescent, up to 5 m. Stems erect sometime declining. Leaves simple, leaf- blade erect, dark green, flattened or slightly concave, thick, rigid, margins sharply denticulate, rarely filiferous with straight fibers. Flowers creamy white, in pendent, panicle, somewhat glabrous or slightly pubescent; tepals spreading, connate basally lanceolate.
