Description of Species |
Tree up to 60 m, bark peels off in thin paper like sheets. The branches lined with cord-like, horizontal branchlets. The branchlets covered with small, green, incurved, point-tipped, spirally arranged, overlapping leaves. Leaves needle-like, becoming triangular and scale-like. Female seed cones scaly, egg-shaped, and up to 6 inches (15 cm) long. |
