Description of Species |
Tree 20-40 m high; bark smooth, shiny over the whole trunk, decorating in small plates. Leaves not opposite, lanceolate, some peltate, rough, hairy especially on veins and edges. Inflorescence terminal or corymbs, in a group of 3-5-flowers, with subcylindrical peduncle. Operculum flattened, hemispherical, ± apiculate. Fruit valves enclosed. |
