Description of Species |
Thorny trees, to 15 m high, with grey – white base. Leaves 2 – pinnat; rachis to 2.5 cm long, with a gland at tip; pinnae 1 pair, shot, each with a gland at tip; pinnae 1 pair, short each with a gland at tip; leaflets 2, from each pinna, obliquely oblong, glabrous; stipules spinescent, Flowers creamish – yellow, in axillary, globose heads. Calyx campanulate, 5 – toothed. Corolla 2 – 3 times as long as calyx, pubescent. Pods spiral, moniliform, reddish – brown, dehiscent, 4 – 8 seeded. |
