Leaf rachis swollen at base; leaflets broadly ovate or obliquely elliptic, terminal largest, rounded, entire, coriaceous. Flowers pale – pink or pinkish, in short, fascicled racemes at the older nodes; bracts scale like. Calyx pubescent. Corolla vexillum suborbicular, emarginated; wings feathery; keel beaked.
