| Description of Species | Upto 8 m high, with grey – tomentose surface. Leaves opposite, ovate – lanceolate or lanceolate, entire, acute, pubescent above, grey tometose beneath, coriaceous; lateral nerves 12 – 20 pairs; petioles variable in length; stipules rounded, reflexed. Flowers white, sessile, in large, tomentose, pyramidal panicles. Calyx lobes small, subequal, subulate, persistent. Corolla white, 1.2 – 2.5 cm long; lobes 4, spreading and recurved. Ovary 2 – celled, each with single ovule; style filiform; stigma 2 – lobed.
