Description of Species |
Large spreading trees, to 30 m high, with grey bark. Leaves obliquely ovate, acuminate, entire or serrate when young, subcoriaceous, pubescent beneath. Flowers green, in numerous clusters on the leafless branches at the leaf scars. Perianth campanulate, 4-8 lobed. Stamens 6-8. Ovary stipitate, compressed; style short, 2-fid. Samara, suborbicular, unequal sided; wing membranous. |
